Vietnam is appealing to the tourist in many different ways. There are tokens born out of its glorious past, beaches, mountains, and beautiful scenery, not to mention the fine accommodation options.

Saigon Skydeck

The deck is found on the 49th floor of the Bitexco Financial Tower, and it offers amazing views of the Ho Chi Minh skyline. For the best views, you should visit in the evening when the night sky lights up.

War Remnants Museum

There are several sites all over the country that pay tribute to memories of war, and the War Remnants Museum is one of them. The main focus of the place is the Vietnam War which took the lives of both soldiers and civilians. Visiting a war museum isn't the most fun thing to do, but your trip will be highly educational; you'll find exhibits showcasing the impact of both the Vietnam War and American War.

Cu Chi Tunnels

These tunnels were used during the war as a hiding place. It takes about two hours from Ho Chi Minh City to get to the tunnels. Visiting these tunnels is a must, and it gives you insight into how a soldier endures the implications of war. Now a tourist attraction, the tunnels were widened so as to give visitors comfortable passage.

Mekong Delta

Located south of Ho Chi Minh City, Mekong Delta region is where you find the magnificent Mekong River. The river is a popular tourist attraction, especially due to the floating markets and houses seen on the river. The banks of the river are fertile with rice cultivation.

Golden Bridge

This is quite the new attraction added to the list. Opened in 2018, the bridge has been attracting visitors ever since. The bridge is 150 meters long, and two giant stone hands support the bridge. If you are to visit the bridge, you are required to buy a ticket for the Ba Na Hills theme park; apart from the bridge, there are several other attractions to be enjoyed at the park. The bridge can only be accessed by cable cars, and by the by, Vietnam is the owner of a number of record-breaking cable cars.

The beaches

One of the things to do in Quy Nhon is to visit the beaches; the city has got the best of Vietnamese beaches. There are many hotels and resorts that emphasise on the beauty of the country's beaches: an example would be Anantara Quy Nhon Villas. The beaches found in Quy Nhon are the definition of tranquillity. If you want to sit and relax for a bit, visit Egg Beach and Queen Beach.

The local cuisine is quite popular among tourists; to that end, there are several cooking classes where you can learn the local way of cooking. In addition to cooking lessons, these cooking classes give their students market tours to teach them how to pick the ingredients. Attending one of these cooking classes is the best way to get a taste of the local life.

This is another UNESCO World Heritage Site found in Vietnam. Halong Bay is a popular tourist attraction and thus visited by many tourists. Hoa Lo Prison

The prison was built initially to hold Vietnamese prisoners. During the Vietnam War, the prisoners nicknamed the prison 'Hanoi Hilton'. Now a museum, Hoa Lo Prison has the main focus on the period before the war when the French used the prison.
