Ubud is a popular place in Bali for the rows and rows of beautiful rice terraces. This offers a scenic view that you can't quite take your eyes off of. Bali has a very traditional irrigation system that has created these terraces. This has also led to one of the most pristine landscapes not only in this country but in the whole of south-east Asia. You cannot miss out on this view!

Goa Gajah

This area is well known around the country to offer amazing historical sites and therefore you cannot miss out on this either. Once you arrive at the elephant cave, you will be required to take a flight of stairs down to be met with a courtyard that is filled with relics.

Besides, when in Bali, it's always better to choose Bali resorts that offer all kinds of facilities for accommodation. If you are in the hunt for one you can check out properties like Anantara Uluwatu Bali Resort, for a start.

Campuhan Ridge Walk

This is a temporary escape from guesthouses, restaurants, and other contemporary boutiques stores. This 9 km stretch of trail begins at the beautiful Gunung Lebah Temple, passes right across the last Greenvalley of Sungai Wos River which then clambers on to meet the Payogan. This trail and walkway are completely free and is an absolute must to take over for the hikers and nature lovers. Make sure your cameras are fully charged!

This place is an incredible water temple which will be one of the highlights of your trip here. You can have quite an incredible photoshoot capturing all day architectural feats that were undertaken back in the day.

Ubud Monkey Forest

This is located close to central Ubud and it is a forest that houses around seven hundred macaques. The sanctuary perfected by nature is very popular in Bali due to the management, accessibility, and geographic location of the place. This has also been a place for great scientific research too!
