The places are placed next to the Tin Hau Temple and are perfect for picking up inexpensive items ranging across electronics, apparel, unique souvenirs and a host of other knick-knacks. Open from 5 pm to 11 pm this market is where you get to hone your bargaining skills, don't forget to do so, and 'no' you won't be offending anyone, simply following the expected protocol. This is one gem you don't want to miss, mind you, the place is not known by many and a pity really for its one of the best attractions in Mongkok. Located close to the Flower Market the Yuanpu Street Bird Park is a trading post for birds of all shapes and colours. The cages lining the streets house a range of colourful birds chirping and filling the area with pleasant trills.
Head over to Fa Yuen Street otherwise known as 'Sneaker Street' and shop for your favourite brand of footwear. The street lined with a variety of stalls offers Nike, Reebok, Jimmy Choo, Adidas and a range of other big brand shoes to choose from.
Go seek out the little alley in Argyle Street to witness the colourful creations of Mongkok's street artists. The graffiti adorning the walls there are very impressive, colourful and inspirational to the soul. One of the best places to spend some time contemplating over the creativity and subtle messages, graffiti alley is a must visit for a taste of local talent.
