Top 6 Things You Must Do in Seminyak – Quintessential Bali Experiences

Bali is one of the most visited destinations in the world mainly due to the tropical climate the stunning natural beauty and the very affordable price tag on a luxurious holiday.

1

Spend a day at a pool club

Seminyak has quite a few places to choose from – the most notable however are Mrs Sippy, Potato Head Beach Club and Ku Da Ta. Potato Head is probably the most 'happening' and in turn the most crowded – you'll probably have to arrive a little early to get a cabana for yourself. The other places are comparatively more chilled-out but it depends on the vibe you're looking for. Each of the venues has amazing food and cocktails and all you have to do is let yourself be pampered while you soak in the sun.

2

Quality food at ridiculously cheap prices

Even if you're not planning to step out of your luxurious Bali hotel in Seminyak you're going to be exposed to some amazing food for sure. Hotels like Alila Seminyak have superb restaurants, but be a little bold and step out to discover some of the amazing eateries in Bali. The food is delicious and the prices are simply too cheap and seem unfair for the amazing fare you're presented with.

3

Overindulge in daily massages and facials

Bali is famous for its pampering, massages and facials and you should definitely get one or a few while you're there. A one hour massage would generally cost less than $30 so might as well get one every day – it just feels so good. There are a few places which are considered a cut above the rest and you might want to check them out; Bodyworks and Dancing Fingers – you will have to book these in advance.

4

Shop till you drop

The main strip near Seminyak Square is a shopper's paradise there are so many little boutique stores to get lost in. The prices are cheap and the items are unique what more could you ask for. Shopping in Seminyak can be a hypnotic experience and don't be surprised if you spend a whole day in and out of these adorable little shops.

5

Sip on cocktails as the sun goes down

There's just something about watching sunsets on a beach but it takes on a whole new magical persona in Bali. Here the sunsets are to die for and you'll find yourself on the beach without even knowing it in time to watch the sun go down. Order a Kookaburra; it's one of the favourite cocktails here.

6

Late nights

A lot of a people come to Bali to let loose and party so don't expect to find any early nights here. There are simply a ton of amazing bars and clubs to meet people, listen to great music, have a few drinks and dance the night away of course. Da Maria, 40 Thieves and Motel Mexicola are a few places you should check out.
