The Grand Mosque is a must-visit location in Oman as it is one of the most astounding architectural creations in the history of Oman. Sultan Qaboos mosques are built in various locations around the country but none matches the grandeur of the one in Muscat, Oman. Resort, hotel and any other building aside, the mosques are the most stunning buildings in Oman

Musandam Beaches

The stunning white sandy beaches and the turquoise blue waters is a sight you must see to believe. The Musandam Region is located to the far North of Oman and it is separated from the rest of Oman by a piece of land from the UAE. The stunning beaches that are created due to the reason that this land is surrounded by the Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Gulf are what creates so many beaches in one location.

Ras Al Jinz

Ras Al Jinz is a location where nature is allowed to take its natural course. The area is a common location for endangered green turtles to come and lay eggs. There are about 20,000 female turtles returning to the area annually in order to lay their eggs. Tour guides arrange trips early in the morning where people can observe the mothers coming to lay their eggs and babies hatching and heading towards the ocean. Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort is not located too far from Ras Al Jinz which makes it convenient for the guests who decide to go on an early morning tour to see the baby turtles finding their way home. Only a certain number of people are allowed at the turtle reserve for each viewing, so it is important to make prior reservations.

Shatti A Qurum

This beach known as Shatti Al Qurum or Al Qurum Beach is the longest beach in Oman and also one of the busiest beaches in the country. It is located in the capital city of Oman, Muscat and there are so many different cafes, restaurants and shops that are located in the vicinity due to the popularity of the location.

Wadi Bani Khalid

The Wadi Bani Khalid looks like a painting from an artist who pays attention to detail and loves adding colour to his scenery. The area which is a lush green paradise on earth is a natural formation which has several water pools bringing in water to the valley which keeps it alive and fresh 365 days of the year. Apart from being a picturesque location, this is also home to some villagers.
