05 Coolest things To Do In Singapore – Enjoy The Fun

Whether you are travelling to Singapore with kids, as a couple, group or solo; the country has plenty of fun attractions to experience. Catering to visitors of all ages, Singapore is pretty hip when it comes to keeping you entertained, listed are the coolest things to do in Singapore!

1

Savour The Pleasures Of A Cruise

A cruise aboard the Royal Albatross yacht is an experience that's beyond cool! The only one of its kind in the whole of Asia, this sleek and beautiful vessel was designed by Jim Barry, the Hollywood rigger responsible for designing Jack Sparrow's ship in Pirates Of the Caribbean. The yacht is made from Kempas hardwood, 100 years old and carved into the most intricate and elegant lines. Book a sunset dinner cruise to savour a sail on the beautiful craft which takes place between 6.30 and 10.30 pm and includes a fabulous 3 course dinner. Or skip the dinner and go for the sunset cruise, sailing between 4 pm and 7 pm. The cruise starts off at RWS and sails along Sentosa and the south islands; there's more, you can go for the 'get behind the helm' and 'climb the mast' options too! A hotel near Clarke Quay MRT Singapore will put you within easy access of the RWS and other top attractions; many like Park Hotel Clarke Quay offer easy access to the waterfront.

Try Some Virtual Reality Fun

VR technology is very cool to experience and one of the best in Singapore is the Sandbox VR on Orchard Road. The perfect venue for a fun family experiment, the VR sessions incorporate group games in a variety of settings such as a haunted mansion, city of the future and even an old pirates ship. Haptic suits and technology which captures full body motions, promise to make the experience as realistic as you want.

3

Go Fish In A Kayak

That's right, Singapore city offers one the thrills of fishing in a kayak; the type of activity to enjoy with a group of friends or family, kayak fishing involves paddling your own kayak and trying to catch yourself some fish. The trip is available in three separate distances; choose from the Big Boat Small Boat experience of 3 to 5kms, the Playground 2 to 4kms and the Island Hopper which is 7 to 10kms. The tours are conducted in groups of 4, accompanied by a guide; you will be practising a 'catch and release' ethic, where the fish caught are released back to the water.

4

Explore the Gardens By The Bay

A very relaxing place to enjoy, the Gardens By the Bay are designed in a holistic Zen fashion to offer one plenty of chance to rejuvenate mind body and soul. The place is very popular for its futuristic attractions the Flower Dome, Cloud Forest and SkyWalk and of course the Super-tree Grove. The beautiful grove of futuristic trees offers an out of this world ambience to the park, with a spectacular lights show taking place there every evening.
