What do you think about sleep, its importance and how much you need? Where did that come from?
Why do you wear the clothes that you wear? What causes you to purchase the ones that are in your closet? When was the last time you altered your personal style? Why or why not?
How often do you eat your favorite food? When did it become your favorite food? What part of yourSelf is most attached to making sure that you "have" it every week?
Do you have a favorite "safe" place? A blanket, a sweater, a spot that you sit? When did that come into being? Why do you think you want or need a "safe" place? Do you think others need one too? When was the last time you willingly did something that required you to be embarrassed?
How often do you move to music? What kind of music brings out "which" moves? Do you move your hips, your head, your arms, your feet? Do you know why each part moves? How do you feel after you move?
What makes your toes and fingers different than another's? Do you have lines that go from your wrist to the base of your fingertips on your palms? Are there scars left from years of life? What do you remember about the events that caused them? Can you describe the shape of your nails?
How does money play a role in your life? Are you free and generous or tight and managing with it? Do you worry or not? Does money seem to hold a large "space" in your reason for working? Is money a vehicle for life? Is money like the scoreboard? Do you hide it, hoard it or share it? Do you spend every last cent?
Do you believe in romance? Do you idealize love? Do you trust the experience of love? Do you sometimes imagine being back in your early days and think about how love worked then? What does love mean to you? How do you bring it into your life now? Do you feel it - for yourself? for others? for people when you're mad at them?
What is your relationship to emotions? Do you like them? Do you approve of them? When others are emotional, how do you react? What kinds of opinions do you have about your expression of them? Are there some that you approve of and others that you don't?
Is your life what you want it to be? Have you settled? When did that happen? What rationale do you use to explain where your life is right now? How did it become this way? What events happened that made you believe either more or less was possible in your life? What do you struggle with? What have you resigned yourself to?
Much of the time, we get so caught up with the very demanding and busy job of living, that we forget to stop and ponder the questions that appear to have no real purpose. Of course, they can yield some very important responses.
