The historic star-ferry is an American Football shaped craft that ferries people from Central to Kowloon. The ride is only 6-12 minutes long but the kids love it. So definitely check it out if you visit Hong Kong.

Instead of enduring a windy bus ride Lantau Island to see the Big Buddha statue and the Po Lin monastery take a ride on the Ngong Ping 360 cable car. The views are stunning and the kids will love it, especially if you opt for the glass-bottomed cable car.
