They are one of the most popular minimally invasive procedures for removing fine lines, wrinkles and reduce the appearance of scars. In this process, small injections containing a gel – usually made of hyaluronic acid – is injected to your skin. They can be injected into the different parts of your face such as nose, cheeks, jaw or your mouth.

As you age, your body stops producing elastin and collagen. These substances are essential for youthful skin. So, injecting the fillers will make your face look fuller and helps to restore the lost volume. Traditionally, collagen was used for dermal fillers. But nowadays, hyaluronic acid is used with brand names Restylane and Juvederm. The acid has a very significant effect as it boosts the collagen production in your skin.

Most of the dermal fillers last between 4 to 18 months.

Microdermabrasion is the process for enhancing your skin tone and texture. It can cure the following skin issues:

During the process, you will be seated and the doctor will use a handheld device on your skin. This will help in removing the outer skin layer of the specific areas. Your body will consider this as an injury to your skin. So, it replaces these skin cells with new cells, and as a result, your skin looks better. The process will take around 30 minutes.

After the process is over, the doctor will apply sunscreen and a moisturizer on your face.

During a light chemical peel, the dermatologist will use a brush, cotton ball and sponge to apply the chemical solution. This solution is usually made of salicylic acid or glycolic acid. Your skin will slowly start whitening. After some time, the doctor will apply a neutralizing solution to wash your face and remove the chemical peel.

  • Non Ablative Laser resurfacing

In Ablative laser resurfacing, the doctor will apply local anesthetics to numb your skin. Then he will apply a laser beam to your skin. This will damage the external layer of your skin called the epidermis. The heat from the laser heats the underlying skin. This shrinks the collagen fibres. As a result, new skin that is formed is fuller and smooth.

In Non Ablative laser resurfacing, your skin will be numbed by an anesthetic. The doctor will apply a water-based gel on your skin to protect the outer layer. Then the laser will be applied to stimulate the collagen production of your skin. The new layer of skin that is formed will look brighter.
