The Grand View Tower

The tower had humble beginnings when a monk decided to erect a small temple there in 1682; later in 1690 the Yunnan Provinces administrator being highly impressed by the stunning views at the location went ahead and built a huge park around the humble temple. The place was enhanced with rockeries, pavilions, bonsai groves, terraces and lush forests.


The Golden Temple

This temple is located within the Jindian Park of Kunming. The Golden Temple is an active Taoist Temple and most noted for its traditional architectural styles. The place boasts sixteen pillars, traditional altars, altar hangings and vintage statues all symbolising Chinese traditions and customs.
