The Night Safari

Singapore is home to the first nocturnal zoo in the world. The zoo houses over 130 different species in various different habitats spread over an expansive area. Visitors can get up and close with the animals in their waking hours and even see rare night-dwellers like pangolins and civet cats. There are 4 different shows that take place which teaches visitors about certain animals and their habits. There are quite a few good restaurants outside the premises also.

The Singapore Flyer is an observation-deck Ferris wheel which takes nearly 32 minutes to complete a rotation. The food court also serves delicious Singaporean food.

A number of parks and gardens are spread across nearly 250 acres along the Marina Bay. These gardens offer a respite from chaotic city life and are wonderful for taking a stroll at night when the weather is cooler and the super-tree grove lights up in a dazzling display. The dome gardens that house exotic plants close at 9 pm, though the gardens are open till 2 am every day. The Gardens by the Bay have become one of Singapore's iconic landmarks and are a must-visit.
