Matt Derbyshire sneaks onto this list for his two-year stint with the Millers between 2014 and 2016. The former Blackburn forward had two consistent years with Rotherham and he played a vital role in their great escape which saw them avoid the drop in 2015/16 under Neil Warnock. His fine form for Rotherham earned him a move to Europe, as he departed that summer for Cyprus-based side Omonia Nicosia.
