It’s about that time again to take out the boat and have some fun. You may experience some dismay, however, when you throw off the boat cover to find that your boat is older than most on the lake. If you feel the time is right to buy a new boat, consider taking a look at the latest models this year that will offer a whole new ride like you’ve never experienced before.
This boat has all the bases covered. At 24 feet long, it can hold up to 16 people comfortably inside, allowing everyone to enjoy a day on the lake. It has a ballast that fills up with water to weigh 1,700 pounds, allowing for a massive wake perfect for wakeboarding and wake surfing. This model is used in the world championships of wake surfing because of the massive wake it produces. It comes standard with a Gladiator tower, a stylish and effective tower for wakeboarding. Those looking to buy will have to shell out at least $80,000 for this beast, not including any of the packages offered with it.
Automobiles are starting to become more digitalized with their integrated gadgets and screens, and this boat is no different. A distinguishing feature of the X-Star is the three touchscreen on the driver’s console, consolidating all dials and buttons into one place. The interior has many seating options, with a retractable seat that covers the bow. The bow and stern have reimagined lounge seats that make riders much more comfortable. Base price: $105,000.
Those with a large entourage will love the new Wakesetter. It is specially designed to fit a ton of people (18 to be exact) that all want to go wake surfing. Even so, anyone can enjoy this boat because it still covers all the bases. A ballast built into the hull allows for producing serious wake. Only those with the largest coffers can buy this boat, for it will run about $120,000.
