Al Husn Souq

It is a must to visit a Souq when you are in a middle-eastern country as these Souqs are a great way to get a glimpse to the life of the locals. Most souqs are occupied by male elders who have gathered for an evening of board games and chats. The Al Husn Souq is the oldest, most famous and the liveliest Souq in Salalah even to date. Salalah Tourism Festival

The Salalah Tourism festival is an event that gains popularity each year. It is generally held during the Khareef Season which is the Monsoon season in Oman which falls around the beginning of July to end of August. During this time most of the locals love to get out and about as they are able to enjoy the most delightful time of the year due to the weather. Arab families like to come to the festival to enjoy the day with their extended families. Some of the locations have rides, replicas of villages which are educational for children and adults alike.

Khor Rori

This is a well-known archaeological site which is being excavated by an Italian team even to date. It is known to be connected to the 1st Century CE which belonged to the kingdom of Hadramawt.
