Popular Expat Bars in Wuxi - To meet people and have the best times!

Wuxi is a popular town for ex-pats. There are a number of places you must visit when in this region. Popular night outs include the incredible collection of bars of Wuxi. Here is a list of these places.


Blue Marlin

This bar was founded back in the year 1999 and has now branched out. There are about 10 bars in this province. The authentic dishes of the west and the collection of import beers have made it very popular. There are live bands, theme parties and other events that take place here making it an entertainment hotspot. Red Lion

This is a new bar compared to the rest of the popular places in this town. New to the nightlife scene here, the owner of this place is an ex-pat hailing from Australia. And he used to be the owner of the famous Blue Bar here. The meals here are absolutely delicious and is prepared by the chef who worked at Indonesia Pavilion at the Shanghai expo previously. With its selected range of authentic dishes, beers and cocktails, it has made it into the popular spots to hang out for the ex-pats in Wuxi. There are also regular entertaining events that range from stand-up comedy to live bands playing their own music. This usually takes place on Tuesdays.


Blue Bar

The Blue Bar has been operating for some time now and does not seem to have lost in popularity in any way. With the selection of good beverages, a dartboard, foosball table, and a chilled atmosphere, it allows ex-pats to come here to blow some steam off. They have all the standard food from the west which includes chilli cheese fries and grilled burgers. The laid-back atmosphere is simply great and is a great place to unwind after a stressful day.


Paulaner Brauhaus

The first location of this bar was in Beijing almost 2 decades ago. Since then, this bar has taken the country by storm. This German beer Emporium is found in Wuxi too, which spikes the interests of all travellers. Like its branches around the country, they have top-notch brews and customers are served with the best quality beer. The beverages may not be cheap but it's one of the best bars in town to taste an authentic brew. The bar is also appealing due to the international bands that play here offering entertainment on a weekly basis.


Jason's Bar

Not every night is for parties and loud events. If you want a quiet night with some blues, jazz, American country, Latin music and the likes to be played in the background you must visit Jason's bar. This bar is owned by an American ex-pat which has a dartboard, a massive TV to watch live sports and a foosball table. You can have a quiet night out relaxing and chilling with friends here.
