This is my top ten list for technology I will use in my future classroom.
I would use OSMO in my classroom to keep all of the children engaged. This would be used as a tool to check my students quick math, by using the number kit, or teach them how to code using the coding kit.
Build wonderful classroom communities with parents and students. I would use Class Dojo to keep the parents involved in what is going on in the classroom. I would also use it t take attendance or communicate any problems with parents.
I would use Quiver to teach lessons, giving the children the creativity stimulation that they need to be able to color however they want while still being able to get te important points across. Quiver also makes the lessons more fun by being able to bring their colorings to life.
I would use Kahoot as a tool to test my students. I get real time results and it's an easy way know if people are struggling or not paying attention in class.
I would use Flipgrid to have my students work on different projects. They could do it in groups or individually and are able to comment on one another's posts allowing for a classroom full of communication.
I would use Nearpod in the classroom to make sure my students are on task when it comes to presentations. Since can control the screen I am able to control the pace of the lesson. At the end I can also have an exit question to make sure any students who might have wondered off the Nearpod site paid attention.
I would use BrainPop to give my students extra help in the areas they might be struggling in. BrainPop also has different ways to assess students at the end of the videos.
I would use GoNoodle in my classroom to help my students be active. I would use it during any free time to help break up the day a little bit or even create time in the day to allow the students to take a break and unwind.
I would use Remind to remind the parents of anything that has to come back to school, like signed tests/ quizzes, permission slips, or things like that that the students might forget to tell them.
I would use Seesaw to let the parents know what the students are doing in school. With Seesaw the parents can see what is going on in the classroom and even give feedback to the students on their work.
