Although there are countless instances of poor parking jobs that result in door dings, torn off side-view mirrors and bumper-less cars, rage is also one of the more sinister results. However, rage can be funny. Many of the notes people have left on cars whose drivers were less than satisfactory are enough to crack up even the toughest poker face.
Some note-writers choose the direct path; instead of beating around the bush with profanity, they simply tell the driver that they have parked like a blind woman on drugs, deal with it, and move on with their lives. Whether you drive the Ford F650 super truck or the Ford KA, when someone parks you in fury can easily rise like bile in your throat. How you choose to deal with the situation is entirely up to you.
f you are one of the many Americans who park worse than my 2 year old sister, perhaps you should remember that not only are you most likely going to damage other people’s cars, but your precious Honda or Ford could be the victim of merciless vandalism or accidental destruction. If you park like a doorknob, don’t expect people to deal you out the money to fix your tin can.
If you drive a fancy car, even a car that is a bit above average, you should be more careful parking. The person who hits you, whether it’s your fault for a bad parking job or not, gets to decide whether they are going to leave their information and help you out. If you drive a nice but reasonable car like the Ford Fiesta you might be okay, but if you drive a super car like the Ferrari LaFerrari, you better watch your back. The nicer the car, the better the chance the person who hits you will decide you’re wealthy enough to pay for it yourself.
Some people use superhero’s to do their dirty work. Dealing with people who park badly can be frustrating. If only they would have parked 2 feet over, they wouldn’t be taking up TWO WHOLE PARKING SPACES and you could park happily and conveniently. Sometimes you are even tempted to call up the dealer and tell them what people are doing with their cars! At the end of the day, the responsibility to park well lies, sadly, in the hands of the owners of the Ford’s and Toyota’s, not the dealers. Perhaps the person who wrote this note is on to something: superheroes can be very motivational.
