Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) is a condition in which the brain is unable to organize sensory input in a way that facilitates appropriate responses.SPD is a neurological condition that may manifest as a result of genetic and/or environmental factors.

The official causes, however, have not been confirmed. Further research is being conducted in an attempt to provide more definitive answers.
