Top Ten Education Technology Tools

This list provides ten examples of educational technology tools that I will use in my future classroom(s)

Class Dojo

Class Dojo is an app used by teachers, parents, students, and schools. This digital tool helps teachers take attendance, report and manage students, track performance, and stay connected with parents. As a parent, you can view your child’s work, behavior, and connect with the teacher. This tool is also great for students to use; they can connect with the teacher and peers, complete online assignments, and share assignments. This educational tool has a variety of functions that help teachers, parents, and students.

A Universe of Learning

BrainPOP is an educational website with animated videos, related material, and quizzes. These videos cover a multitude of subjects including math, science, social studies, and English. BrainPOP has videos for all learners including early elementary and English language learners.

Home - GoNoodle

GoNoodle is an educational technology tool for K-5 classrooms they provide interactive activities/videos. This tool provides desk side movement that helps improve students productivity and behavior

Kahoot! | Learning Games | Make Learning Awesome!

Kahoot! Is an educational game-based learning platform where teachers and students can create multiple choice/true or false quizzes. Then after you create one, they can be in class using a laptop, phone, or tablet.


Nearpod is a platform that allows educators to create engaging digital lessons. Creators can also insert videos, images, quizzes, matching and much more. Nearpod can also be used through Goggle slides, create your powerpoint through google and then insert Nearpod activities. Or educators can select from the thousands of pre-made, ready-to-run lessons.




Osmo is a gaming accessory that can be used with iPads and Kindle Fires. The accessory is compatible with the tablet’s Osmo app, where students use the accessories to play the games. Games cover subjects like coding, tanagrams, and math.




Ozobots are little robots that help teach children about programming and coding. The bots can identify lines, colors, and codes and can be used on both digital and physical surfaces.


QuiverVsion is a 3-d coloring app that uses AR technology to bring images to life. Users print and color an app compatible coloring page and when finished open the app and use it to have your creation come to life.


The Merge Cube is a holographic toy that allows users to interact with the objects using uses AR technology. Objects projected including human anatomy and the solar system, it also has games and coding activities.


PBSkids is a website that provides children online games and videos with familiar characters. It also provides parents and educators with activities, printables, and other resources.
