Qatar is an Arabic country and you should keep this in mind when you are packing for your trip in Qatar. There are strict rules and regulations when it comes to clothing especially for women, it is vital that you abide by the law and do not do anything that might seem disrespectful. Women should pack clothing that covers their shoulders, stomach and knees at all times. Men should wear t-shirts that have sleeves and pants that are past the knees. At hotels in Doha Qatar, there are no strict rules about attire and Al Najada Doha Hotel by Tivoli and other well-known hotels are lenient with the dress codes as long as you are modestly dressed.

Sun protection

Qatar is a sunny warm sub-tropical country that has the sun shining during day time and the weather cooling down during night time. The difference is quite harsh and you need to be prepared for it. During the day time, the sun rays are rather unsympathetic and it is a must to wear sunscreen. It is highly advisable to take a good pair of sunglasses and a hat that can protect you from the sun. Wearing clothing that covers up to your wrists and ankles will also save your skin from the sun rays.
