Located about 20 to 25 kilometres away from Luang Prabang the best time to visit these waterfalls are from 8:00 a.m. in the morning and until 5:30 p.m. It takes about one hour or less to reach this place if you head out from your hotel in Luang Prabang the likes of Avani+ Luang Prabang before traffic time. The waterfall is easy to find and you will not have a lot in trouble accessing it, you will also be pleased to know that there are plenty of transportation options available for you to get to the place. Some people even opt to take a bike and cycle themselves to the location.

Once you get to the end of the night market road in Luang Prabang, you have to turn left and head out of town for about 5 kilometres until you see the sign that tells you that you are near the waterfall. After you see the sign you will have to travel about 2 more kilometres to get to the waterfalls which can also be done on foot if you are ready to go through a dense jungle. This part that takes you through the forest used to be closed to public for quite many years but is now again open. It is best to visit this specific waterfall during the monsoon as the summer season will have no waterfall but just a tiny trickle.
