Things to Do with Family and Kids in Johor Bahru – Bonding time with your Kids

Is Universal Studios Singapore your go-to-place? If the answer is yes, you will love these diversions. With hotels closer to city highlights, Johor Bahru is going to make your trip entertaining.

1

Zoo Johor

Your kids are going to love this one, and this is your chance to have a close encounter with other sentinel beings of nature. The park is quite a vast expanse of land, and you can spend about two hours wandering around. Your kids can admire the many species found there, and it's going to be quite educational too. If your kids get hungry, as they often do, there are cafes located right at the zoo where you can enjoy delicious bits of the local cuisine.

2

Legoland Malaysia

Kid or adult, who doesn't love Legoland, eh? Visiting Legoland Malaysia is going to be fun for you and your kids in equal measure. This world of Legos is meant for tourists, and on Halloween night, it's so much more impressive. The definition of family fun, Legoland Malaysia is a neighbour to many family hotels in Johor Bahru as well – now that cuts down the time you'd otherwise be spending travelling, doesn't it?

3

Laser Battle

Have you tried paintballing with your kids? If you have, you are going to love this new version of paintballing. Instead of paint, here at Laser Battle, they use laser – your kids are going to love this modern version, and they are going to view you as parents who understand their world – now that's a bonus point.

4

Austin Heights Water and Adventure Park

This is an all in one package – the place brings together a waterpark, an adventure course and a sports park. The park is located 40 minutes away from Singapore Customs, so it's not that hard to track down the place. There are three separate categories of fun you are going to be having here, but you need to have three separate tickets too. Having to buy three tickets, in your case more than three, is nothing when compared to the fun you are going to have with your kids – there are twists, turns, thrilling sides, a wave pool as well as a lazy river. If you want to feed your adventurous spirit, head over to the adventure park – you'll find the largest indoor rope course in the whole of Malaysia with no less than 51 obstacles.

5

Woodland Waterfront Park

Many reviews left by those who've been to the park testify to it being an oasis of comfort and quiet. Located close to Berjaya Waterfront Hotel Johor Bahru and off the straits of Johor Bahru, this park is going to offer you the much-needed sit back time after a day of adventure.

6

MCM Studio Theme Park

This indoor theme park is located inside Capital 21 Mall. Now, this is a two-birds-with-one-stone scenario – you could let your kids play while you do some shopping at the mall. Your kids will fall in love with trampolines, slides themed with cartoon characters and ball pits. The park is open to visitors from 10 am to 10 pm, and don't be surprised if your kids want to spend their whole day at MCM Studio Theme Park.
