Once In a Lifetime Journey at best beaches in Singapore – Beaches in Singapore

Most of the popular beaches in the world are natural beauties but most of the beaches in Singapore are beautiful but man-made creations.

1

Siloso Beach

The number one beach in Singapore is found nowhere else other than in Sentosa Island. This is probably the most popular beach and the best-catered beach. You can play many outdoor beach sports, try water sports and have a wonderful time out in the sun.

2

Tanjong Beach

Even though the Tanjong Beach isn’t a natural beach, you will not feel a difference as this is one of the most preferred beaches to spend the day out in the sun. Located in a rather secluded area the Tanjong Beach is the definition of a pristine beach strip. Several serviced apartments in Singapore are not located too far from Tanjong Beach.

3

Changi Beach

The Changi Beach is located in the far east of Singapore and consists of white sand that makes for a picturesque beach. This area is well developed as it has a running and walking path built right along the beach making it a great place for families to go out for some time out in the open. The coastal park is a popular location for fitness fanatics as the area is designed and dedicated for those who wish to stay fit. The Ascott Limited is located a few kilometres away from Changi Beach.

4

Palawan Beach

Palawan beach does not need an introduction as it is extremely popular due to the suspension bridge that links the beach to a small island. You can walk across the bridge or even swim to the island for an adventurous getaway. The island has several open beach bars which play music and have activities which attract a lot of youngsters. Located in the Sentosa Island you can either take the shuttle bus or walk to the Palawan Beach.

5

Punggol Beach

Punggol Point Park is an underrated location as it is located further away from the popular locations in Singapore. Located in the northern tip of the country the beach at the Punggol Park is a hidden gem. Since this is out of the way, most people tend to strike it off their itineraries but the beach in Punggol is peaceful, calming and beautiful which contributes to a relaxing day basking in the sun.

6

Lazarus Island

Lazarus Island is known to be home to the most beautiful beach in Singapore. Most tourists come to this beach to spend the day and make the best of it. Most people tend to overlook this beach as it is a small beach but the white sand with the aqua blue water is an extraordinary treat to the eyes.

7

St John’s Island

You can get to this island through a ferry that you can board from the World Trade Centre. It is a short distance away from the mainland and is the third most famous island in Singapore. There are several public beaches located around and the island and most of them have changing rooms, washrooms and even picnic spots, cafes and shops. If you wish to stay for more than a few hours, you can rent a bungalow for your family and friends.
