Hanoi is a beautiful city which has been getting attention from international tourists as of late and the city does not disappoint those who come to the city.
The most visited location in Hanoi is the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long. The building and area are named a UNESCO World Heritage site and is protected by the government and the Vietnamese people.
The water puppet theatre is a must-do activity in Hanoi as this is one of the oldest forms of performance in Vietnam. The Asian craft of puppets have been interpreted in a unique way by the Vietnamese and there are many theatres in which guests can enjoy these performances,
Ho Chi Ming Mausoleum has left a lasting mark on Hanoi and it an important mark in the history of Vietnam. Ho Chi Ming is considered to be one of the best leaders the country has ever seen and he laid to rest in a glass case in this building.
This building contains a series of Buddist Temples which are believed to have been built in the 15th Century. These structures are built over a mountain range which sets them away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. You can journey towards the Son Mountains from which you have to take a boat ride in order to approach the foot of the mountain range. The hike is a fine option for those who are staying at Hanoi hotels with pool facilities, as you can dip and relax in the pool after the hike!
The lake which is also known as Turtle lake is one of the main features of Hanoi. You can see many locals and tourists who come to the sides of the lake to spend their time in bliss. There are many activities that take part in the lake.

The Hanoi Opera house was built in 1911 and is undoubtedly one of the prestigious architectural structures in Hanoi. The opera house consists of exhibitions and performances that cater to a variety of artists.
The temple of literature was only one building at the early stages. It was designed to be a location which was dedicated to Chinese sage and Scholar Confucius to educate them. Later on, many buildings and pavilions got added around it and it has become the prestigious area it is today.
