This museum is dedicated to the fisherman of Malaysia and has 4 galleries. The 1st gallery is the geography gallery that gives you information about the waters in the area. The 2nd gallery is the safe waters gallery, the 3rd one is the wreck gallery, and the final one is the special exhibit and display gallery. Keep aside a few hours and walk into this museum with an open mind and a thirst for knowledge. This museum is open from 9:00 a.m. and shuts only at 5:00 p.m. daily. The entrance fee to this place is not very expensive and it is a fun and interactive place to take your children to.
The Desaru fruit farm is a place you must visit if you are somebody who loves to walk amidst greenery. You will find many great trees and vividly coloured flowers in this huge Malaysian agricultural and amusement park. More than 100 kinds of fruit have been grown here. Apart from the fruits, you will also be able to explore the tiny zoo which has a collection of unique animals. You will not be allowed to pick the fruits during your walk and exploration no matter how tempted you are. The opening hours for this farm are from 8:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
Not everybody likes looking at these slimy reptiles, but you are the unique kind that has an interest in these creatures you might want to take a look at this attraction. This place has different kinds of crocodiles and you will also be able to hold and pet and play with the baby crocodiles while you are here. Your children will definitely love the experience of visiting this place in Desaru, and you must always follow the instructions of the guide and be careful.
Yet another unique attraction in the area, this ostrich farm would be a fun visit to make while in the country. Again, you will be able to pet the baby ostriches here and they will steal your heart as they are the cutest little creatures on earth. The size of the ostrich eggs will have you in shock and is something you must see for yourself to believe. These are wild animals, therefore, however friendly they seem to be, it is better to keep a safe distance when you are looking at the fully grown ostriches. This farm is open from 10 am until 6 pm every day and there is no entrance fee to the place either.
