Quy Nhon Travel Tips - For an epic trip!

Quy Nhon of the Binh Dinh province in Vietnam is a bucket list destination for many. If you’re travelling to Quy Nhon anytime soon, here is a much-needed guide.

1

Tip 1- The Best time to visit

Quy Nhon is best explored between the months of January and March. The temperature is in its twenties-on the higher side of course- and there’s little to no rain, during these months. Later on, the temperatures get hotter. If you are someone who could care less about the heat, then you can even travel during the summer season, which is also an ideal time. The months between September and December, are the rainy seasons. You will experience heavy showers and downpours.

Tip 2- Getting around

Where transport is concerned, the city has quite a few options. Having said that, cycling around is the best method to explore the town. Quy Nhon is home to the most cycle and pedestrian-friendly waterfronts of Vietnam. You can cruise through in your bicycle and explore places you might miss out on, otherwise. You can also rent motorbikes too. As the city isn’t a huge place, you can get around easily in your motorbike. The taxis won't cost you much as well, as the tourist attractions aren't too far from each other.

Tip 3- Accommodation

Well, the city has a wide array of hotels and resorts. You can choose one that fits your budget. For instance, if you would love to treat yourself to a luxurious experience, then why not check out a property like Anantara Quy Nhon Villas. However, if you would want a cheap place, you can try homestays and hostels. There is a place for every budget! For food, you can always choose to dine at your hotel or in any of the Quy Nhon restaurants. There are plenty of good ones offering authentic cuisines.

Tip 4- Activities

Well, the most popular activity out here is exploring the beach. As this place boasts of a tropical climate, it can get quite hot and humid. And there's nothing else you would like than to cool off in the deep blue waters of the sea. The Hoang Hau beach is one such place you can check out. You can also relax here in its white powdery sand beaches, all day long. If you aren’t here for a suntan, then there are plenty of shady spots under palm and coconut trees. Get yourself some coconut water and cool off!

Tip 5- Attractions

There are plenty of attractions that hold an important place in the country’s history and culture. The Thi Nai stronghold is one such place. This used to be a trading post during the kingdom of the Champa. Today, you can see some ruins of this structure that was built back then. Banh It Tower is another place that was built during the Champa era. The tower is located on a hill, and its architecture is so spectacular that many still go here to witness it themselves. The Long Khanh Pagoda is more than three hundred years and is linked to many generations and eras of the locals. Other places of interest include the Nhon Hai Fishing Village, Dam Market, Quy Nhon Night Market, Nguyen Nga Center and Da Liquor Village.
