Best home broadband router

Which home/small office routers have served you well?

ASUS RT-N56U

This router has served me well for the last year and has consistently ranked well in reviews. See http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/wireless/wireless-reviews/31436-asus-rt-n56u-black-diamond-dual-band-gigabit-wireless-n-router-reviewed

Netgear WNDR3700

This router has generally done well in my home office for a couple years, but the Asus RT-N56U has been a better performer the past year.

Cisco 851 Integrated Services Router

This is a solid company-issued broadband router, with impeccable site-to-site VPN capabilities. No fan means silent running; a real plus in a home office setting.

Cisco 1811 Integrated Services Router

In many ways the ultimate company-issued home office router. But the fan is so noisy.

Linksys WRT54G

This is the grand daddy of hacker broadband routers. But it is dated with only 802.11g support.
