In order to obtain a gun permit, you need to prove that you know how to handle one safely. The certified instructor will teach you how to safely hold, shoot and clean your gun. After completing the course, they will provide you with a certificate from a licensed gun training center. Present the certificate to the office where you are applying.

Lastly, you will need to pay a non-refundable fee for your gun permit. The fee will vary depending on your location. Once the county office has reviewed your application, cleared your background check and received your fee, you will present you with your gun permit.
