Guided Reading

Epic! is a fun and new way for us to read our leveled texts. We can choose from many different books that are on our Guided Reading level and even have them read to us!

This video explains the R.A.C.E. strategy that will help us answer questions about the text we read.

You will use the ShowMe app after reading your leveled text to complete a R.A.C.E. graphic organizer. You will explain your thinking of how you came up with your answer to your question I assign.

Let's practice our sight words! It is always a good idea to practice our sight words as they can be difficult to sound out and help us read fluently when we can recognize them quickly.
