While the 20-year-old has been entered into the World Skate Park World Championship by the Japan Skating Federation, White has been granted a wildcard entry and faces a battle to secure one of the three US spots for Tokyo Olympic 2020.
The bar will be raised for the two crossover stars in the quarter-finals, where the 16 men ranked from five to 20 in the World Skate Park rankings will join the party with the top four including Brazil's defending champion Pedro Barras waiting to start competition at the semi-final stage.

It has been nine days since Simone Biles stunned the world with her triple-double at the USA gymnastics national championships. As 22-year-old Biles leaped 10 feet into the air spinning at an incredible speed she became the first gymnast to add another level of difficulty to a twisting backflip in 31 years.
Instant speculation began as to whether she would attempt the feat again at Tokyo Olympic 2020 after which it would be named in her honor in the Code of Points. Fans who want to watch the live-action of Olympic gymnastics can get *Olympic Gymnastics Tickets *online.
But the road to another eponymous move for Biles could be less straightforward than expected. On Tuesday night American gymnast Jade Carey posted a video of herself training at the skill. The clip shows the 19-year-old perform a round-off back handspring before launching into a triple-double and landing on a soft mat just to the side of the competition floor.
In the gymnastics Code of Points when a gymnast is the first to perform a skill at a world championship or Olympics it is named after them. As both Biles and Carey seem poised to perform a triple-double in Tokyo, we could be looking at a Biles-Carey.
Carey who hails from Phoenix Arizona shot to the elite level just two years ago when she earned two world championship medals. She chose not to try out for the national team for Tokyo 2020 instead of pursuing qualification as an individual under a new format. The odds are in her favor a win at the World Cup in Australia this February will guarantee her ticket to Tokyo Olympic 2020.
Floor and vault are considered Carey’s strongest apparatus, so it is no wonder her tumbling is sound. Her triple-double is an incredible show of strength and skill, though it is not quite as technically sound as Biles’.
The older gymnast is known for her tight tuck and in her triple-double her knees are tight to her chest. In contrast, Carey’s are slightly bent. Biles have the edge for successfully executing it in competition but Carey isn't too far off both gymnasts managed to land with their chests high.
So far Carey is underrated, as she struggles to wow an audience with her artistic prowess. She placed second to Biles on both floor and vault at the USA gymnastics national championships and placed seventh all-around but she has the makings of something great.
It is worth noting that most other elite gymnasts including Biles have been on the circuit for at least five years. Carey has been competing at the elite level for a third of Biles’ successful career. Simply managing to train the complicated move just two years into her stint is exceptionally impressive.
If Carey works on her artistry and cleans up her form there is a strong chance she could score in Biles’ range at Tokyo.
Biles’ elite career has occasionally seen others come close to breaking her winning streak. Nina Derwael beat Biles to take gold on the uneven bars at the 2018 World Artistic Gymnastic Championships, but she still earned the all-around title.
Aly Raisman an incredibly talented gymnast in her own right come close winning silver in Rio 2016. But even then Biles won the individual all-around title by 2.10 points. Though 2.10 don’t seem like a large margin, the average win between 1972 and 2012 was 0.208 points. But if Carey’s practice and skill come together in time, she could be the one to close the margin. Biles herself has proven that perseverance, with just the right amount of daring, pays off.
In 2013 a crisis of confidence when Biles first entered the elite level caused her to make several mistakes during her routines at a national team competition. She didn’t even complete her vault routine. But Biles still managed to prove her ability with her drive and natural talent helping her to win five medals in Rio 2016.
Biles’ triple-double was a gamble - in competition one month prior she had stepped out of bounds. In the opening floor exercise, her move was so powerful that she used her hands to save herself from falling.
Carey has natural talent just like Biles as much is evident from her triple-double. Now the question is whether she has the perseverance and daring to take it on and make Tokyo Olympics 2020 an unexpected showdown. But even if Carey does not succeed, it is likely the chance of some competition will force Biles to compete even harder to cement her name as the Greatest of All-time.

The Japan Swimming Federation has announced tough qualifying times for the host nation's Olympic Games team at Tokyo Olympics 2020. According to Swim Swam in the majority of events, the times are what were required to reach finals at this year's World Championships in Gwangju. Fans who want to watch the live-action of Olympic Swimming can get Olympic Swimming Tickets online.
Japan is aiming to select only those swimmers with a genuine chance of reaching finals in their various events, and not athletes to merely make up the numbers. Swim Swam reported that the qualifying time of 7min 48.12sec in the men's 800 meters freestyle is quicker than the national record of 7:49.65 recorded by Takeshi Matsuda in 2009.
One qualifying event is planned for Japanese swimmers before Tokyo Olympic 2020 the Japan Swim competition in April. Daiya Seto has already qualified for the host nation, after winning world gold in the 200m and 400m medley events. Any Japanese swimmer who topped the podium in Gwangju was an automatic selection for Tokyo Olympics 2020.
But Japan is likely to be without star female swimmer Rikako Ikee in Tokyo after the 19-year-old six-time Asian Games champion was diagnosed with leukemia in February. He also won 200m medley silver at the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon in South Korea as well as Universidad silver in the same event in Russian city Kazan in 2013.
News of his failure comes with Japan preparing to host next year's Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Fujimori would have been in line to compete at his home Games. He will now Miss Japan's National Championships next month and the World Championships in Gwangju in South Korea in July.
Ephedrine is normally used to treat low blood pressure. In May Japan's two-time backstroke swimming world champion Junya Koga was removed from the country's squad for the Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang after failing a drug test. He tested positive for traces of banned androgen receptor modulators LGD-4033 and SARM S-22 in an out-of-competition test in Tokyo Olympics Games. Both substances can help build muscle.

Competition there will take place between September 14 and 22. Nýdrle that arrived in Lonato having won the silver medal in the same discipline at last month's European Games in Minsk hit 60 targets in the final to top the podium.
The Czech shooter ended the competition three in front of silver medalist Tammaro Cassandro part of the Italian squad which finished second in the team event at the 2018 World Championships in Changwon. Cassandro was 11 ahead of Britain's Jeremy Bird, who did enough for the bronze medal with 46 targets.
The triumph for Nýdrle marked the biggest achievement of his career so far. Russian Zilia Batyrshina claimed the junior women's skeet honors in the other final held today. Batyrshina secured the gold medal on 52 targets one more than Katharina Jacob of the United States could manage.
Jacob was forced to settle for silver by the narrowest of margins while Dutch shooter Esmee Van der Veen clinched bronze on 38 targets. The event is due to continue tomorrow.

In the end, it was a comfortable win for the home side who completed victory inside five innings as the super round phase of the tournament concluded. Beijing 2008 Olympian Kaleigh Rafter sealed the success with a walk-off home run to send Canada to their fifth Olympic Games.
"The reality is that for most of the players it probably will be the only opportunity to go to the Olympics, so I think it's especially sweet for them," said Canada's head coach Mark Smith.
And for the older ones, it is the chance to go back and make right the experience they had 12 years ago that didn't go the way they hoped. I know how hard they've worked I know the time they've put in and I know the personal sacrifices they've made. We have proved ourselves to be legitimately one of the top powers in the world.
"And our stats this week proved that, we have given up only two runs in the tournament, and that two runs cost us a ball game but when you look at our stats offensively defensively they have proven that they are as good as anybody in the world."
Mexico, who beat Canada 2-1 yesterday to book their Tokyo Olympic 2020 spot was confirmed as tournament winners as they beat Cuba 7-0 to top the super round group. The win meant they ended the event with a 100 percent record. Puerto Rico beat Venezuela 4-1 in a battle between two already eliminated sides.
Women's softball, as well as men's baseball, will return to the Olympic stage in Tokyo after the sports were axed following Beijing 2008. However, they have not been put forward for inclusion at Paris 2024. Canada lost in the semi-finals in Beijing and has never reached the podium.

Hungary's Tamas Lorincz the London 2012 silver medalist at 66kg won his first global medal at the age of 32 as he overwhelmed Sweden’s Alex Kessidis in the 77kg final winning 8-0.
There was a disappointment for the home crowd as Ashkat Dilmukhamedov who had beaten a double Olympic champion and a world champion Russian Roman Vlasov and then Serbian Viktor Nemes en route to the semi-finals on the previous day ended the tournament without tangible reward for his excellence.
The Kazhak was beaten 3-1 in his 77kg bronze medal match by Uzbekistan's Jalgasbay Burdimuratov. The other 77kg bronze went to Iran's Mohammad ail Geraei who beat Karapet Chalyan of Armenia 9-6. Riza Kayaalp of Turkey overcame Cuba's Oscar Pino Hinds 3-1 to win the 130kg title.

Tokyo set to host two of the world's biggest sporting events the Rugby World Cup and the Olympic 2020 Summer Games Japan's capital is making final preparations for the global spotlight.
Tourism in Tokyo is already booming. Annual foreign visitor arrivals to Japan trebled in the years from 2013 to 2018 to over 31 million with around 10 million stopping in Tokyo. That's supposed to top 40 million in Olympic 2020. Olympic Fans who want to watch the live competition of Olympic Rugby can get Olympic Rugby Tickets online.
The city's Olympic readiness will get a test run when the Rugby World Cup kicks off on September 20 at Tokyo Stadium. Matches will be held in 12 Japanese cities and around 600,000 international rugby fans are expected to descend on the country, taking one-third of tickets.
It was a perfect start for Japan at their home Rugby World Cup, defeating Russia 30-10 in the first game of the tournament in Pool A. A stunning Opening Ceremony at Tokyo Stadium, with on-pitch light show, a model of Mount Fiji and former New Zealand captain Richie McCaw hoisting the trophy aloft welcomed around 50,000 spectators to the first Rugby World Cup in Asia.
Japan, ranked 10th in the world, was hot favorites against the 20th-ranked Russians, but it was the minnows that made the better start. Within just six minutes of referee Nigel Owens' first whistle, Russia's winger Kirill Golosnitsky took advantage of a mistake by Japan fullback William Tupou to score the opening try.
The conversion was landed by Yury Kushnarev and very quickly the hosts were 7-0 down. But it didn't take long for Japan to hit back, as outside-center Timothy Lafaele delivered a sumptuous no-look pass to Kotaro Matsushima who went over for the five-pointer.
After a frenetic opening, play gradually began to settle down, although handling errors were commonplace. As the game approached half-time, Japan increased the pressure and was unlucky when Matsushima just failed to ground a chance in the corner. But a couple of minutes later he made no mistake for his second try and the conversion gave Japan a 12-7 half-time advantage.
The crucial score came within seven minutes of the restart as flanker Pieter Labuschagne broke through a tired-looking Russia defense and sent the crowd into raptures with Japan's third try.
Penalties were exchanged before Matsushima put the icing on the Japanese cake, rounding off his hat-trick with a clinical right-wing finish and delivering a bonus-point fourth try.
With Ireland, Scotland and Samoa also in Group A, Japan are still outsiders to qualify for the quarter-finals as a top-two finisher, but couldn't have asked for a more perfect opening 80 minutes.
Tomorrow's games are sure to ignite the tournament with Australia first up against the talented Fijians France playing Argentina, and the undoubted game of the weekend New Zealand versus South Africa.

While Redele had an unhappy day which saw her drop to 86th place, the opposition behind Blom remained largely Belgian or German. Meanwhile, Germany's double Olympic team eventing gold medalist, Ingrid Klimke moved up to third on Scrabble 15 after incurring just 1.20 faults for a total of 31.00.France won last month's team competition on home soil at Haras du Pin.

Hosts China and Australia both made it two victories from two at the Asia/Oceania softball qualifier for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. The Chinese beat Philippines 8-3 in Group A at Shanghai Chongming Sports Training Center but did things the hard way for the second game in a row. It was the Philippines who drew first blood, racing into a 3-0 lead before the Chinese turned things around. New Zealand also opened up a 3-0 advantage against the hosts yesterday before also losing 8-3. Lu Ying hit a grand slam home run for China as they fought back impressively today and ensured qualification for the super round phase.
"I thought the game against New Zealand was enough and we showed character and confidence to come back to win," said China's Coach Corey Myers. But to go through it again today was nerve wrecking."
New Zealand bounced back from their opening defeat by seeing off South Korea 5-1 in the group's other game. They will now face the Philippines, who thrashed the Koreans 10-1 on day one in the last batch of group fixtures tomorrow to see who joins the Chinese in the super round.
In Group B, Australia backed up their 5-1 win over Chinese Taipei yesterday by easing past Indonesia 8-0 inside five innings. Chinese Taipei, the highest-ranked side at the event at number six in the world recovered with a 7-0 win over Hong Kong, who had pipped Indonesia 6-5 yesterday.
Australia will win the group and advance to the super round with a 100 percent record should they beat Hong Kong tomorrow. The Taiwanese will meet Indonesia and will be favorites to win and also go through. Results from the group phase carry over to the super round where teams play the two qualifiers from the other group.
The side topping the pile will qualify for Tokyo Olympic 2020 where both baseball and softball are returning to the Olympic programmer following their axing after Beijing 2008. They will complete a six-team line-up in Tokyo which so far includes hosts Japan world champions the United States America’s qualifiers Canada and Mexico and European qualifiers Italy.

The four nations decided in October to allow a GB women's side to try to reach Tokyo 2020 Olympic, but qualification is contingent on England's development in France. England manager Phil Neville says the "plan" is for him to manage the team.
Video
"It will be England led by me and my coaching staff and we have a fantastic pool of players to pick from, he said. Not just the ones I manage here, but Wales, Scotland and [Northern] Ireland."
England tired Norway to reach the last four, while the USA tired France 2-1 on Friday to safeguard there are only three European sides in the semis. There will be 12 sides at Tokyo 2020 Olympic. There was no contract for a British men's side in Japan - although they would have failed to qualify anyway.
At London 2012, a women's team made their debut, with the men returning after 40 years away - with the home nations agreeing to that as a one-off for the home Olympics. Both sides went out in the quarter-finals.
No joint British side featured in Rio 2016, with the relations of Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales opposite to the idea. Last June, Neville said fielding a Side GB team in Japan was "absolutely fundamental" for the development of the women's game.
The Scottish FA said they will not actively support or promote the side but will not prevent players from being involved, while their Welsh counterparts said they will not align themselves politically with the team. Unlike the men's event - which is an under-23 tournament - the Olympics are one of women's football's biggest events, with no age restrictions.
The sides sure a place are G B, fellow semi-finalists the Netherlands and Sweden, crowds Japan, Copa America winners Brazil and Oceania champions New Zealand. The other games will be filled by two qualifiers from both Asia and the North, Central American and Caribbean cluster, as well as one from Africa and the winner of a play-off amid Chile and an African side.
Defensive champions Germany would not be at the Olympics 2020 after they lost their World Cup quarter-final to Sweden. The four semi-finalists from the men's European Under-21 Championship - Germany, Romania, Spain, and France - have fit for Tokyo 2020 Olympic.
GB would not have been qualified even if England - who went out in the group stages - had reached that round.
