6 Awesome Things to do in Pattaya at night – explore another side of Pattaya

Located on the eastern coast of Thailand, Pattaya has long been celebrated for its stunning beaches, but it has so much more to offer visitors. Here of 6 things to do in Pattaya at night.

1

Head over to Jomtien Beach

Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the boisterous nightlife in the city, the Jomtien beach is a great place to just chill with friends, either day or night. Situated 3kms south of the livelier Pattaya Beach - best known for its rowdy night parties, Jomtien is far less crowded and features a clean stretch of beach that's perfect for a quiet night out. There are several restaurants located near the beach as well as wandering vendors serving an array of cheap seafood snacks.

2

Day trip to Koh Larn

A small island located just west of Pattaya and 2-hours from the Thai capital, Koh Larn is a scenic location that features white sandy beaches, clear waters and plenty of opportunity for swimming, sunbathing and snorkelling. Also known as Coral Island, travellers coming from Pattaya can easily reach the island via speedboat. These can be chartered through any of the tour companies in Pattaya or check with one of the hotels like Avani Pattaya Resort if they organise day trips to and from the island.

3

Explore Walking Street

Probably one of the biggest and busiest entertainment spots in Thailand, Walking Street is a red-light district that draws both local and foreign visitors by the thousands each year. If you want to experience a uniquely Pattaya nightlife, then walking street is the place to be. Take a stroll under the neon lights and explore the many restaurants, go-go bars and nightclubs.

4

Tiffany's Cabaret Show

The cabaret is definitely something you should watch if you get the chance. Located inside Pattaya's grand theatre, Tiffany's cabaret show is a splendid hour-long combination of elaborate costumes, singing, dancing, and whimsical skits. Some of the performances include scenes from Thailand's history told through dance, Bollywood numbers, traditional Korean dance, and Broadway tunes among others. While it's not the most obvious choice of nightlife in Pattaya, things to do in the city range from cultural spots to neon-lit go-go bars, so why not add cabaret to the list too!

5

Pattaya Floating Market

Pattaya's floating market has all the beauty and boisterous activity you would expect to find in Bangkok. The correct name of the market is actually the Four Regions Floating Market, and each corner is meant to represent a different region of Thailand. This is represented through the variety of shops and vendors selling fruits, drinks, food, art, souvenirs and handicrafts as well as cultural shows. Several of the vendors do actually float in narrow canoes, while the rest are built on a stilted village of sorts, connected by walkways and bridges.

Ripley's Believe It or Not!

The famous curiosity show has its own exhibit in Pattaya which contains over 300 mind-boggling displays. Adjacent to the main museum is the waxworks museum, a movie theatre and a few fun rides. The most popular of which is the sky balloon that rises over the city, offering excellent views over the surrounding areas.
