What the hell is the matter with that woman, Lola asked herself. Of course, she knew the answer to that question. But sometimes Lola enjoyed bitching about her boss. For reasons she had failed to identify so far, she couldn’t explain her impulse to criticize humans.

Writing a book is a whole lot of fun. Writing a book series, well, that’s another deal. Let’s say it’s slightly scary. Still, it’s great fun. Why so?

One, because it’s more interesting than earning a Ph.D. in Couch-Potatoing.
Two, people look at you differently: you’re not as crazy as they first thought.
Three, because you meet people you’d prefer never to meet again, ever!
Four, because, seriously, it’s really, really, really quite exciting.

Here’s the fun part.

I was trained in the craft of industrial psychology, and that means that by now, I should be able to read people pretty quickly. That has not always been the case but, in general, people are more or less what you see.
