Voices of Faith plan to bring together leaders in the Vatican with the global Catholic community to demonstrate the significance of women in leadership roles in the Church.

Our vision is for women's voices to be heard and included in decision making within the Catholic Church. Women still do not have a voting rights at Synods convened by Pope Francis. The next Synod of Bishops is in October where we strive to change this to allow women religious to cast their votes for the first time.

Where do I feel a living faith these days? Unmistakably, I encounter it in women. Not just any women – we are after all no monolith group – but with the women who no longer silently go along, with the women who speak up and act for an equal church.

Voices of Faith’s digital campaign are aimed at advocating for gender equality in the church. We intend to unite voices across the world that believes in our dream for women to be involved in leadership and decision making roles in the Church.

Without our Voices half the Church remains silent. Voices of Faith is helping women cast their first vote this synod of bishops on Amazonia. #overcomingsilence

Upcoming Synod of Bishops in Amazonia will change the future of women in the Catholic Church! Many times in the history of Christianity, religious sisters stood at the frontiers of change. As prophets and pioneers, atuned to the movements of the Holy Spirit, they have discovered new horizons of our faith in changing times.

Voices of Faith want to unite leaders in the Vatican with the global Catholic community to show the significance of women as agent of change in the Catholic Church. There role is to bring women to position of power inside the global church.

We want sisters to come together and discuss solutions for changing the current situation. It will bring us closer to one of our goals – to see sisters cast their first-ever vote in the upcoming Synod of Bishops in Amazonia.
