To standardize job-related skill development the MSDE aims at setting up skill development training institute known as the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendras (PMKK) in every district. AISECT, in a public-private partnership with NSDC, is setting up 23 PMKKs in four clusters in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. The aim is to make vocational training available to the youth who are skilled but unemployed.

Launched under the Skill India Mission on 15 July 2015 by honorable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, the scheme aims to train the youth and make them skillful for various jobs. These Skill India courses are without any charge and can be pursued by any Indian citizen from the age group of 14-35 years. These courses are divided into 34 sectors based on various industries and verticals.
