4 Top Rated tourist attractions in Dubai - A hotspot of activity!

Dubai is the place to visit when it comes to all things exciting in the United Arab Emirates. With many tourists coming here from all over the world, it offers an array of locations to check out. Here is a list of the best attractions for you to visit when you're here.

1

Burj Khalifa

There's no other place that comes to anyone's mind regardless of where they are in the world when they think of Dubai. The city's landmark building, the Burj Khalifa stands at an impressive height of 829.8 metres, making it the world's tallest building at the moment. When you're in Dubai, checking this place out, especially the observation deck on the 124th floor is an absolute must. The view from above is simply stunning and unrivalled, where you can see the endless desert on one side and the beautiful ocean on the other side. If you're planning to visit the Burj Khalifa, it's best to book your entrance ticket in advance, so that you avoid having to wait in long queues. If you're looking for luxury apartments in Dubai, there are plenty of great options to select from, such as Oaks Liwa Heights for instance.

2

Dubai Mall

The Dubai Mall is another great place to visit here, and it also makes things easier if you're visiting the Burj Khalifa as the mall also provides entrance to it as well as the Dubai Aquarium. The Dubai Mall is home to a gaming zone, cinema complex and even an ice-skating rink if you're looking for a little adventure during your trip. When it comes to eating and shopping, the options you'll have access to are endless. The mall is also known for hosting various special events that include fashion shows and live music right within the complex. Located in Doha road, some of the most sought-after events here at the Dubai Mall include the Dubai Summer Surprises Festival that occurs in July and August as well as the annual Dubai Shopping Festival that takes place in January and February.

3

Dubai Museum

Constructed in the year 1787, the Dubai Museum is located in the Al-Fahidi Fort. The walls of the fort have been constructed from traditional coral-blocks and are held in place with lime. The top floor is held strong with wooden poles and is covered with palm fronds, plaster and mud that make up it's ceiling. From what used to be the residence of the ruling family, the fort was restored in 1971 and once again in 1995, making it what it is today, the city's premier museum. You'll discover a whole variety of exhibits from traditional boats to old maps, weaponry, musical instruments and so on.

4

Dubai Aquarium

One of the most popular attractions in the city is the Dubai Aquarium. Here, you'll find over 140 species of marine life that live in a massive suspended tank right on the ground floor at the Dubai Mall. Upon entering the Underwater Zoo section of the aquarium, you'll even be able to go cage snorkelling or try out shark diving.
