Buzzers
A selection of buzzers from the old faithful standard buzzer to the ever-present Shipmans, buzzers come in all shapes and sizes. It is one pattern you should never be without, as it forms a huge part of the trout's diet.

Blue Black Buzzer
An unusual Blue hothead bead and a very plain Black body. A Wee Cracker!

Nymphs are a natural sub-surface food source for trout and grayling. They are one of the trout's main food source after buzzers and hence an important part of any fisherman's armoury. We have a range of non-weighted, light weighted and heaving weighted nymphs (tied on traditional and jig hooks) to suit all fishing depths and/or techniques.

WET FLIES
At My Fishing Flies we stock a varied selection of over 150 traditional wet fly patterns for trout fishing.

DRIES
Thought by many in the sport, as the pinnacle of trout fishing, the ability to present correctly an imitative fly to a feeding fish can be the most exciting or frustrating of past times. At My Fishing Flies, we have a vast range of both modern and traditional patterns utilising traditional feather and modern synthetic materials. The range extends from size 6 Muddler to size 18 spinners and CDCs. Although only fished by some during the balmy summer months, a well presented dry fly can be deadly at any time of year.

LURES
Lures, sometimes known as the 'Dark Side' of the sport, are an attractor pattern designed to bring out the aggressive nature of the trout. Within My Fishing Flies extensive lure catalogue you will find the usual suspects such as Cats, Dancers, Nomads but also some more modern attractors such as Zonkers and Snakes.

BLOBS
A fairly modern simple attractor style fly pattern, usually vibrant coloured loved by some hated by others, but are used extensively in the competition scene with huge success. Extremely versatile can be fished at all depths and at all times of the year.

The FAB (Foam Arsed Blob) is a variant on the traditional blob but used as a buoyant pattern to be fished on the point as an alternative to a Booby (where not allowed by fishery rules).

** FOAM FLIES**
Within the My Fishing Flies catalogue, you will find a range of floating surface fishing flies utilising high-density ethafoam to add that extra edge, attractor and buoyancy.

BOOBIES
The booby can be either be fished on a sinking line with a figure of eight retrieve, or as a washing line set up on a floating or midge tip line. It is so versatile and successful it accounts for a huge amount of fish caught each weekend across the country.

WORMS
Worms, either fished under a bung or on a slow figure of eight, have become a main item in the small water anglers armoury and can be deadly.
