04 Fun Family-Friendly Things to Do in Bangkok - Excitement for all ages!

While Bangkok is well known for catering to adults with an array of attractions, it is also home to some amazing activities for the whole family to take part in. Here is a list of family-friendly things to do in Bangkok.

An innovative and popular place for kids, Kidzania is an addition to Bangkok's growing edutainment scene. Unlike anything you've seen before, your kids will definitely discover a whole new level of fun. Kidzania is home to a model city where children can take part in a variety of activities. Upon entering, children can pick from a set of career options, where they'll be provided with the appropriate costumes to suit each job. For example, they can play doctor at a miniature hospital, be a firefighter, a policeman or even learn to make sushi like a chef. Located at Siam Paragon on the 5th floor, Kidzania is open on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on weekends from 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Bounce Bangkok

If a little adventure is what you and your kids seek, Bounce Inc. Bangkok is the place to be. This is a climbing centre and trampoline park that is absolutely action packed! The massive space is often frequented by teens and children since it is open to anyone older than three, while younger children definitely require adult supervision. You'll find a variety of trampolines, with some that have padded walls to practice flips and jumps. With this being a very safe environment, you can easily have fun with minimal worry. Bounce Bangkok is located at The Street Ratchada on the 5th floor and is open every day from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. If you're looking for a 2 bedroom suite in Bangkok, you'll find plenty of great places to choose from, like Maitria Hotel Sukhumvit 18 for instance.

Ice Skating

Another excellent activity albeit one that requires a little bit more caution with kids, Ice Skating can be done in many places when you're in Bangkok. A simple search will provide you with a whole list of places all near you. Incredibly fun and adventurous, this will surely keep everyone entertained for hours on end. If you're a beginner, there'll be many people willing to give you lessons or you could simply use a penguin-shaped stabiliser to keep you upright while you learn how to balance.

Laser games are a relatively new trend in Bangkok and Lazgam is an excellent place to check it out. Gaming sessions usually run around 15 minutes and are guaranteed to get your heart racing. Spread out across two entire floors with various partitions and mazes, Lazgam has more than enough space for you and your family to run about having fun. Games are divided into categories like Teams, Solo and Red vs Blue where you'll be divided into two teams to compete with each other. Lazgam welcomes anyone over the age of 7 and is open from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.
