This gorgeous paradise is a scenic 1 hours' drive from your Hua Hin resort and boasts its own fascinating legend. According to myth, it is believed that 300 tradesmen from China sought refuge in the park when their Junk capsized; keep in mind that in that time the sea spread further inland. Hence, the place was named Ko Sam Roi Rot which means 'Island of Three Hundred Peaks'; however, over time the sea receded causing the park to be named Khao Sam Roi Rot meaning 'Mountain of Three Hundred Peaks'. Nature lovers will find the park a stunning haven of scenic lookout points, complete with coves and caves to explore; that's not all, you can look forward to a full day of discovering isolated beaches, verdant marshes, and uninhabited islands.
