Symphony of Lights

Everyone who visits Hong Kong must make their way to Victoria Harbour at 8 p.m. on any day to witness one of the most spectacular sights they could ever see. The Symphony of Lights is a dazzling light show which illuminates over forty buildings on both sides of the water. The Guinness Book of World Records even recognizes this as the world's largest permanent sound and light shows around. This is almost always at the top of any list of Hong Kong attractions and is rightfully so.

Ladies Market

Mong Kok is long known to be one of the busiest places in the whole world. You'll only nod in agreement when you make your way here trying to navigate through its market. The Ladies Market, also called Tung Choi Street is a whole kilometre of markets that sell everything from cosmetics to clothing that is incredibly cheap if you've got great bargaining skills.

Tian Tian Buddha

Popularly known as the Big Buddha, this is one of Hong Kong's most popular attractions. The statue which stands at an impressive 34 metres tall above the Po Lin monastery brings in crowds of visitors all year round. Located in Lantau Island, this is a must-see on any list. Lan Kwai Fong

No trip to Hong Kong is complete without experiencing all the Lan Kwai Fong has to offer. Hong Kong Park

If you're looking for a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city, Hong Kong Park is an excellent option. This man-made oasis built in Central back in 1991 is home to various water features and an aviary that houses over 80 species of birds. You'll also find a greenhouse, the Flagstaff House Museum of Tea Ware and the Hong Kong Visual Art Centre nearby.

Ocean Park

Considered the original amusement park of Hong Kong, this opened here 3 decades before Disneyland did. Located on the south side of the Hong Kong Island, it is home to thrilling rollercoaster rides and exciting wildlife. Highlights here include the Whirly Bird and the Hair Raiser.
