Amazing attractions in Hong Kong - Be very dazzled!

Home to more spectacularly tall skyscrapers than anywhere else on the planet, Hong Kong has, even more, to see and discover. Here is a list of some amazing attractions that you should check out on your visit.

Symphony of Lights

Everyone who visits Hong Kong must make their way to Victoria Harbour at 8 p.m. on any day to witness one of the most spectacular sights they could ever see. The Symphony of Lights is a dazzling light show which illuminates over forty buildings on both sides of the water. The Guinness Book of World Records even recognizes this as the world's largest permanent sound and light shows around. This is almost always at the top of any list of Hong Kong attractions and is rightfully so.

Ladies Market

Mong Kok is long known to be one of the busiest places in the whole world. You'll only nod in agreement when you make your way here trying to navigate through its market. The Ladies Market, also called Tung Choi Street is a whole kilometre of markets that sell everything from cosmetics to clothing that is incredibly cheap if you've got great bargaining skills.

Tian Tian Buddha

Popularly known as the Big Buddha, this is one of Hong Kong's most popular attractions. The statue which stands at an impressive 34 metres tall above the Po Lin monastery brings in crowds of visitors all year round. Located in Lantau Island, this is a must-see on any list. If you're looking for the best hotel discounts for accommodation in Hong Kong, you'll find a whole array of places that offer great prices, such as Silka Hotels for example.

Lan Kwai Fong

No trip to Hong Kong is complete without experiencing all the Lan Kwai Fong has to offer. Located in the Central district, this tiny square of streets features close to a hundred bars and restaurants. They include some of the trendiest eateries as well as some of the most raucous nightclubs in all of Hong Kong. Highlight spots here include Wan Chai, SoHo and Knutsford Terrace.

Disneyland Hong Kong

A visit to the Magic Kingdom is a must do when you're here in Hong Kong. Located in Lantau Island, you can let your inner child go crazy by experiencing all that it has to offer. Favourites here include Space Mountain, It's A Small World After All and exciting new rides such as the Iron Man Experience as well as Star Wars: Tomorrowland Takeover.

Hong Kong Park

If you're looking for a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city, Hong Kong Park is an excellent option. This man-made oasis built in Central back in 1991 is home to various water features and an aviary that houses over 80 species of birds. You'll also find a greenhouse, the Flagstaff House Museum of Tea Ware and the Hong Kong Visual Art Centre nearby.

Ocean Park

Considered the original amusement park of Hong Kong, this opened here 3 decades before Disneyland did. Located on the south side of the Hong Kong Island, it is home to thrilling rollercoaster rides and exciting wildlife. Highlights here include the Whirly Bird and the Hair Raiser.
