Singapore is one of the most exciting travel destinations and there are so many different things to do and places to see in this country which is also a city.

Gardens by the Bay

The Gardens by the bay is a miracle of lights that makes you feel like the night stars are dancing with nature on earth. The place is one of the most stunning locations in Singapore and if you ever go to the country you must visit the Gardens by the Bay. There are two open-air light shows hosted by the gardens by the bay which is visible not only from the location but also for the audience in the vicinity.

Singapore Flyer

As a kid, if you enjoyed going on the Ferris wheel this enormous Singapore Flyer will excite you as you get to see the city from stunning angles. You can see the Gardens by the Bay, Marina Bay Sands, Clarke Quay and many a city hall hotel in Singapore from the wheel.

Sentosa Island

Sentosa Island is like a magical location from a fairy-tale book that has come alive. There are so many things you can do on the island that you would need a few days to cover the whole area. Instead of trying to cover the entire island you can pick a few attractions such as one of the beaches, a few water sports, and some restaurants to dine at. While you are in Sentosa do not forget to visit the magnificent Merlion.

Clarke Quay is a relaxed and calm location to go to in order to enjoy the view, the liveliness of the tourists and the locals in the restaurants and also treat yourself to some delightful cuisines from around the world. Grand Park City Hall is close by to the Clarke Quay and you can make a quick walk back and forth.

Universal Studios

Universal Studios is an exciting place for both locals and tourists alike. It is a theme park that is sectioned out to about 10 different themes and there are activities for kids and adults alike. Universal Studios is also located in Sentosa Island among the other attractions. It is a great location for the family to spend a day together as there are so many restaurants, cafes and souvenir shops that you can roam about in case you would not like to ride the thrilling roller coasters.

Chinatown

If you have been to a Chinatown in another country then you know what to expect but it is a must visit location in Singapore as you get some of the finest crafts and food in this area. The street food is absolutely delightful in Chinatown and you can indulge the tasty goodies while you walk about looking for beautiful gifts to take back home. You can see some of the craftsmen at work making the artsy pieces from their shops.

Changi Museum

To learn about Singapore and its history that led to the marvellous creating that it is today you can visit the Changi Museum. The museum has photographs, letters, paintings and other exhibits that narrates the story about those who suffered during the WWII under the Japanese occupation.
