Bangkok's humid weather definitely calls for a splash in the water. When you find it in the form of a thrilling water park, well, what more do you need?!

Fantasia Lagoon Water Park

A rather large water park, located at the top floor of The Mall Bangkae, Fantasia Lagoon Water Park is primarily aimed at young children and teenagers. Despite the fact that it has been open for several years, it has gone largely unknown to tourists, and you'll only see locals enjoying the park. The Fantasia Lagoon features large pools and decently sized sliders, and in addition, a cool entertainment zone located below the water park - for only 100 baht! The Park is divided into various zones, which are suited to children of all ages, and once the little ones are all tired out, they can sit near the entertainment stage and watch magic shows, and other fun games.

Ramayana Water Park

Located in Pattaya, an hour's drive outside of Bangkok, the Ramayana Water Park is Thailand's biggest water park. With 50 water slides and several other fun attractions, there is something for every age at this park. A small lagoon is ideal for toddlers to splash around in, especially since it covered to protect the kids from the harsh sun. None of the water used in the park, pools included, are chemically treated. Instead, all the water is drawn from on-site wells, which is thoroughly filtered to the point that it is even safe to drink, though not advised.

Siam Park City

Located an hour's drive away from central shopping malls and Bangkok apartment hotels, such as the trendy Citadines Sukhumvit 16 Bangkok, for instance - Siam Park City has enough entertaining activities to plan a fun day out with the family. The most popular section of the park is the Siam Water Park which features thrilling slides, relaxing pools, and a river that flows through the park. The park also has boasting rights to the world's largest wave pool, with smaller waves and shallow areas suitable for younger children as well. Older children and adults will love the super spiral ride which weaves in and out and is loads of fun. If you are feeling extra adventurous, head over to the speed slide! This slide looks innocent enough until you find yourself sliding down a bumpy slide at breakneck speeds with water splashing in your face. An exhilarating experience if you're game enough.

Cartoon Network Amazone Waterpark

With around 30 water slides and rides along with other attractions like food courts, entertainment shows and more, the Cartoon Network Amazone Waterpark is sure to be a firm favourite with the whole family. Situated near Pattaya Beach, the water park is separated into sections that cater to particular age groups, and includes characters from popular Cartoon Network programmes such as Ben 10, Gumball, The Powerpuff Girls and more.

Santorini Water Fantasy

This one is more for adults since the main attraction here is the 78m water slide named Ares' King Cobra which sees thrill-seekers plummet down the slide at speeds of 50km/h! In addition, there are also five other high-adrenaline slides as well.
