I was sitting here bored today, and trying to find things to do this summer in Utah. Here is what I came up with!
The best part about Utah is the mountains being literally in our backyard. I have found a ton of hikes to do, some are great for the family, some are great for more advanced hikers. You have stuart falls, hiking to the top of Mount. Timp, hiking in south fork, Bridal Veil Falls, and so much more.
There are about 1000 places to camp in Utah, but I have found my favorite to be in American Fork Canyon. If you go up and around the alpine loop, you will find some amazing camping right there at the peak. You can also find places to camp up the north fork of American Fork Canyon.
It definitely is not the most glamorous of lakes, but Utah Lake is a great place to go for the afternoon. The waves can be fun enough to get some great air while tubing or jet skiing, but also smooth enough for paddle boarding or kayaking. I have done all of the above in this lake, which is why it makes my list.
I have found after all of these activities my dog usually reeks! After . long day in the lake, or an overnight hike, he is filthy and needs a bath. That is where Orem dog groomers comes in. All of my other options have been outdoors, but that might not be for everybody. You will find some amazing shopping and great places to hang out. The Orem mall is always a great place, and they have recently updated it to have an amazing kid spot. You can get all of your shopping done, and a day at the park for the kids all in one place.
