This is one of the most sought after street food in Bali. Nasi Ayam

Chicken rice is a popular meal in most of the Asian countries. If you love salad then you will definitely like gado gado as well. It is a traditional Balinese dish which is a salad that they prepare on a daily basis at most households. A combination of vegetables are chopped into small pieces and them steamed in order to make them softer but carefully done so that the nutrients are not lost. The vegetables are then mixed with a spicy peanut sauce.

Tahu and Tempe

This is a very popular vegetarian street food. It is made with tofu and fermented soy cake. The main ingredients are cut into small pieces and then fried along with coconut water and some herbs and spices. It is then stuffed into the patty mixture and deep fried. It is eaten with various types of sauces varying from spicy peanut sauce, soy sauce or chilli sauce. With time there have been small changes to this dish and at most street food carts you can now find this available with chicken, beef or even vegetables in order to create variation.

Sambal udang is one the most favourite dishes in Bali as they love their seafood. This dish is a great accompaniment for noodles or even rice. This is similar to batter friend prawns but the batter that is used in Balinese cuisine is quite thin and it doesn't affect the taste when you much into the prawn.
