Red Light District: Prostitution is legal in Netherlands. Red light district is the area where prostitutes stand behind the window and have their own rooms for entertainment. This is the most visible and typical kinds of sex work in Amsterdam. There are three Red Light District in Amsterdam but De Wallen in the city center is one of the oldest and the famous one. Red Light District in Amsterdam is called as Rosse Buurt. Red Light District is open 24/7. The window brothels are, however, closed for only 2 hours in the morning i.e. 6am-8am.
