Best Time for Triund Trek: Triund Trek is feasible for the most part of the year. Though, pleasant weather during the months of March to June and September to mid-December makes it the most preferred time for the Triund trek. Triund Trekking and Camping continues during monsoon but due to heavy rains the trek becomes a little challenging. The months of January & February witness snow that makes Triund Trek unattainable.

Triund Trek Difficulty: Triund Trek is one of the easiest treks of Himachal Pradesh and is suitable for all age groups. It is perfect for the beginners but that being said it will not disappoint the experienced trekkers as well. Experienced trekkers have the choice to trek further to Lahesh Cave or Indrahaar Pass.

Triund Trek length / Time taken for completing the Trek: The total length of the trek is 9 kms and the entire trek can be completed within 05 hours. Most part of the trek is easy despite of little steep stretches but last few kilometers is a bit challenging and is famous for 22 steep curves.

You can easily give a skip to advance trekking gear.

High ankle shoes are usually suggested for the treks, however; any Trekking shoes with a good grip will be good.
A 40 to 60 litre backpack preferably with a rain cover.
Track Pants, Warm layer of clothes (as the temperature is cold on top especially during night)
Sunscreen, Sun Glasses and a Sun Cap
LED Lamp or Torch
Toiletries such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, Towel, Toilet Paper, Lip Balm etc.
Medical Kit
Valid ID proof is Mandate
Water Bottle / Light snacks
