• Metropolitan Museum of Art. Das größte Kunstmuseum der USA und das Kunst der gesamten Menschheitsgeschichte zeigt. Stelle ich mir wie das British Museum vor.
• Museum of Modern Art. Von van Goch bis Salvador Dali ist alles da. Auf sechs Ebenen, auf Spendenbasis und somit frei für uns. Auf mich hat das Museum Eindruck gemacht, es war prägend.
• Museum of Moving Image. Habe ich schon fest eingeplant, auf einer Radtour durch Queens. Ist auf dem Gelände des Kaufman Astoria Studios gelegen und zeigt auch ab und an Filme. Soll den Besuch wirklich wert sein.
• Das Guggenheim spricht vor allem wegen seiner Architektur an - und ich war noch nie dort.
• Das Tennement Museum zeigt Wohnungen des 19. Jahrhunderts. Beim letzten mal haben wir das übersprungen, aber ich würde dort wirklich gerne hin. The Cloisters ist das neune Kunstmuseum, das zum Vessel und den Hudson Bays gehört. Ganz neu seit Aril des Jahres. Ist das was?
