Thai food needs no introduction. The flavoursome goodness of Thai cuisine is well known in every nook and corner of the world. There are plenty of choices when it comes to Thai food and here are some of the popular options.


Gaeng Keow Wan Kai

Gaeng Keow Wan Kai is a ravishing green chicken curry that comes with tender chicken, eggplant, bamboo shoots, Thai basil and of course green chillies, which is made into a thick paste mixed with coconut milk. A handful of other herbs and roots that are popular in Thai cuisines go into the dish as well. Since there is plenty of gravy it is usually served as an accompaniment to a bowl of rice. It's a noodle dish which is stir-fried with beansprout, egg and onions The dish has accompaniments such as fish sauce, chilli paste, ground peanuts which enhances the overall flavour of the meal.

Even though fried rice is served everywhere in the world the authentic flavour of the dish can only be savoured when you have it in Thailand! Fried rice is a mishmash of seafood along with carrots, shallots, and leeks stir-fried with rice. The dish is served with a slice of cucumber, lime and a small cup of chilli and vinegar.


Yam Nua

This is one of the best meat salads you'll every taste. The salad consists of a mix on shallots, coriander, lime, mint leaves, dried, and beef strips. This is a refreshing salad that can be enjoyed as a single dish or with noodles or rice.

Pad Krapow Moo Saap is fried basil with pork. It's a single plate dish that is served for lunch or dinnertime. This rice dish is made in a hot wok with basil leaves, chilli, green beans, soy sauce, and cubed pork. The dish is usually topped with a fried egg and is served with steamed white rice.
