Hunters in this area normally can’t wait to yank a gun out of their secure safe and head for the hills. If you decide on this location make sure and bring clothing fit for a winter storm. It’s not uncommon to get snow in your boots while trekking through this terrain.
If you’re looking for an alternate form of hunting then you’re in the right place at St. Joe National Forest. Archers and hunters who operate with a bow go to Idaho for their hunting, but they’re always sure to bring a GPS to avoid getting lost.
