Markets and shopping

It is no surprise that Koh Samui has several daytime markets and night markets. There are many different stalls and vendors that you can visit in order to try out different food, buy souvenirs and even gifts. The stalls vary from fruits, vegetables, clothing, accessories, bags, jewellery, and even carpets. The markets are the place to bargain as most of them quote higher prices to foreigners. If you are willing to try out different food then the markets are the perfect place as there are so many different street food vendors at these markets. The locals tend to get a snack or a drink and walk around the markets.
