Twitter engagement

Tweet by Matthew Edelman(@MatthewEdelman3)

One of the most famous boxing pictures of the most famous boxer. ⁦@MuhammadAli⁩ was the G.O.A.T. And very few people will ever come close to his level. Thank you ⁦⁦@nytimes⁩ for the great photo. #RSJ108 ⁦@carenroblin⁩ https://t.co/SIQ2H5jyQD

This tweet is the last one that I will be creating for this class. I will be starting a new twitter account and using the tools and techniques that i learned from tweets like this to create a successful twitter page.

Steph Curry always looks for ways to add to the Golden State franchise. This is only one of the many things he has done in his career to show his commitment. #RSJ108 https://t.co/BrguLKXITu

This tweet combined many of the design techniques that I learned this semester. I used gradients, photoshop, and adobe color to create this tween and celebrate one of my favorite athletes.

This chart shows our sea levels over the past few years. I couldn't believe these stats when I first saw them. #RSJ108 @carenroblin https://t.co/1SKrIicESu

This tweet was a surprise for me to create. I knew nothing about creating graphs and charts, let alone styling them. This class taught me how to make the boring graphics in design fun.

This guy was very kind and allowed me to take a picture of him for my #RSJ108 class #unrpeople @carenroblin https://t.co/WH6dqNQhbg

This tweet was very uncomfortable for me to make. I am a shy person by nature and talking to strangers is not something that I normally do. This tweet required me to walk up to someone that I had never met and ask them to allow me to take a picture if them and post it on my twitter account. I was very nervous for this tweet but luckily I met this man who did not mind me taking his picture and allowed me to get my image tweet done in record time.

This quote is my favorite from the ⁦⁦@austinkleon⁩ book steal like an artist. Thanks to my #RSJ108 class and my teacher ⁦@carenroblin⁩ for introducing me to this quote. https://t.co/xTtAx72znv

This twee was one of my favorite tweets to make. I had the photo prepared from my trip to Colorado and I felt that the wide Mountain terrain fit perfectly with the Austin Kleon quote. With all the advancements in technology Geography is truly no longer our master.

I have learned a lot about typefaces in my #RSJ108 class. Today I even learned what font I am. I have always liked #Impact as a font, but now I like it even more. ⁦@carenroblin⁩ https://t.co/l65wxPABlV

I liked this tweet because I enjoy puns and cheesy jokes. The pun on the font style Impact fit too well for me not to act on. I also enjoyed finding the background picture of this tweet that gave the correct felling from what I wanted out of the tweet.

Thanks to my #RSJ108 class, I was able to discover this quote from one of my heroes ⁦@TheSlyStallone⁩ ⁦@carenroblin⁩ https://t.co/3b5JytPecY

This tweet included one of my favorite quotes from my all time favorite actor. Sylvester Stallone has always been an inspiration to me and I have always wanted to create something as a tribute to him. This image tweet gave me the perfect opportunity to mix my creative style with the legacy of the man who created the great Rocky Balboa. This tweet was and still is my favorite that I made this semester.

This is one of my favorite design quotes of all time. I had such a fun time in #RSJ108 learning how to create this design. Thanks @carenroblin for teaching me! https://t.co/LsTJNaThhL

I enjoyed making this tweet because it gave me the opportunity to learn about the gradient feature and how it can make certain parts of a design pop. I also enjoyed finding this design quote by Paul Rand.

This is a #throwback to when I got to witness the @Cardinals play the @lions this season. Just remember even when life is looking bad, you will always have the great moments to look back on. @carenroblin #RSJ108 https://t.co/Ardez3mQHV

This tweet includes a photo that I was able to take from the Arizona Cardinals vs Detroit Lions game. I enjoyed how the picture was able to capture the sense of the whole field while still focusing on the players. I felt like more people may like it so I turned the image into a tweet.

“There is no such thing as strange creatures. Only blanket people.” From #FantasticBeasts @carenroblin #RSJ108 https://t.co/HZ7jViOGFg

While the image of this tweet might not tell you a story, once you read the caption you will begin to think of all the unique and colorful creatures that live in our world such as the two birds above.

Rather than relying on the draft, the @Broncos have decided to trade for former @Ravens quarterback @JoeFlacco. Only time will tell if this decision will bring the Broncos back to playoff form, or if it will continue the line of quarterback failures in Denver. https://t.co/cfy8A5moTE

I was excited to make this tweet because I am a huge Bronco fan, and the news of the new quarterback made me feel happy so I wanted to share that good news with any fellow Broncos fans that will find my tweet.

This quote shows a healthy mindset in today’s world. Dan Reynolds the lead singer of #ImagineDragons is a wise man. Thank you @carenroblin for giving me the opportunity to find this quote. #RSJ108 https://t.co/dt9OdOgDAj

This tweet is my second favorite tweet of the semester. I enjoyed learning how to mix up the complimentary colors and it was the first tweet that showed me how twitter can spread people's voice and not just their criticisms.

Today @Broncos head coach Vic Fangio talked about not putting “Band-aids” on issues. He is right. Teams that try to fix problems short term only win short term. The best coaches and franchises will focus on what will get them wins not just this year but for years to come.

This tweet was the first tweet I created without an image. I had just heard the news of the Broncos signing a new head coach and felt that I should share my opinion on the matter. I am normally not an opinionated person but tweets like this have made me feel free to express what I think.

Avatar the Last Airbender is filled with great and inspirational quotes like this one. The new generation may never know how impactful this show was to 90's kids. We can all learn a lot from Uncle Iroh. @carenroblin https://t.co/DbOUOsdx58

This was the first tweet that I ever created. I never thought I would use Twitter until I started this class and because of this tweet I was able to learn more about the world we live in today and the designs that we see in our everyday lives.
